"People with disabilities/chronic conditions and Civil Protection" (Online event 1st of July 2021, 11.00-13.00)
The Municipality of Alexandroupoli, in collaboration with the Institute of the National Confederation of Persons with Disabilities and Chronic Conditions (IN-ESAmeA), aiming to highlight the requirements of an integrated Civil Protection plan that covers all citizens without exclusion, is organizing an online event on July 1, 2021, 11.00 – 13.00.
The aim of the event is, on the one hand, the presentation of the requirements for the universal inclusion of people with disabilities and chronic diseases in civil protection plans in terms of social justice, and on the other hand, the development of Civil Protection Plans of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis, adapted requirements and rights of people with disabilities, chronic diseases and their families, for all stages of managing a crisis situation.
In the context of the event, among other things, the 4PLUS project and good practices promoted by it will be presented.
