Deliverable Π13 of 03.08.2020 Contract of ESAmeA with the union of companies "EUROPRAXIS μ.ΙΚΕ - EUROPEAN PROFILES Α.Ε."
In the context of a wider diffusion of the results and achievements of the 4PLUS project, beyond the cross-border area, ESAmeA (LB1) undertook the organization of a wide visibility event, with a multiplier character, exchange of experiences and good practices, and policy making, with the main objective of maximizing the dissemination of the results achieved during the implementation of the project The participants were representatives from national, regional and local bodies, which are considered capable and necessary to enhance the transferability of the main results of the project (tools, good practices, promotional material, etc.) to others bodies and areas outside the Program area.
The main objective of this event was to raise awareness of the issues of inequalities and exclusion for people with disabilities and chronic diseases in civil protection, as established by research in the Greece-Albania cross-border region, and in this context to present the goals and results of the project 4PLUS, with the ultimate aim of contributing to the transfer/exchange of know-how, experiences and good practices, and to the drawing up of new, more inclusive policies and practices.
The event, themed "People with Disabilities/Chronic Conditions and Inclusive Civil Protection in Crisis and Disasters", was co-organized by ESAmeA and the Institute of the National Confederation of Persons with Disabilities & Chronic Illnesses (IN-ESAmeA) and was conducted via Zoom video conference on Monday , 31 January 2022, between 14:00 and 17:00. The event was open to everyone and participation was free. The language of the event was Greek and during the event there was a parallel interpretation service in Greek sign language.
